I drew this after watching some old episodes of the Chipmunks and watching the movie from the 80s, and trying to make myself forget the horrible trailer for the new live action film. Provided the Chipmunks originally were more 'realistic' looking, that is to say, 4 foot tall Bambi-looking chipmunks with rollerskates... but I just can't get over the fact that Alvin has been reduced to eating his brother's poop. That's down right pornographic. And not in a good way either. I drew him... either yesterday or the day before... NO it was the day before, I remember. We watched a Goofy Movie on Sunday night and JJ wanted to try drawing in the style of Roxanne. So I thought, eh, might as well try my hand at Maxie. He's pretty cute, but I wanted his "older look" but this looks a little more like the younger Goof Troop version. Ah well.
